"A Mere Expedition!" is the first quest I created for Neverwinter Online's Foundry quest editor.

The quest is seven completely custom maps created over three months. It offers two difficulty modes of play integrated into the story-line and provides scripted events (despite no scripting tools in the editor).

The final area offers a boss-like finale that adjusts its own difficulty depending on how long it takes the player to clear the boss event. I used patrolling guards which die out of scene to time and trigger transitions and to keep track of player progress during the finale.

As of March 2019, this quest is rated 4.39 out 5 and number 21 in the best quests tab with over 40,000 plays and nearly 15,000 player ratings.
