Level Designer

"The Visit" is my entry in Neverwinter Online's Foundry Portal Contest which was created in a mere 5 days.

The contest guidelines required level designer's to create a feeling of being transported to a distant world via a portal. Authors could only use two maps and were required to show the story rather than tell it, focusing on the environment and ambiance to bring the quest to life. Only one dialog was permitted and no combat encounters were allowed.

The Visit had the highest rating of all the contest entry's and was also the people's choice of winner during the Neverwinter Team's live stream. However, the quest only scored second place, as the contest coordinator based the winner on actual average rating rather than Neverwinter's weighted rating system.
